How It Works
Shipping a box in four steps
1. Pack your box
Use a sturdy box and make a list of everything inside. Leave the top open if you’re not sure an item is allowed — we’ll check.
2. We weigh and quote
We weigh and measure the box and give you the price for your destination before you pay anything. Pay with cash or card.
3. Fill out the paperwork
We help you complete the contents declaration and the recipient’s information, in English or Spanish.
4. Keep your receipt
Your receipt has the shipment number you’ll use to check on it. Send a photo of it to your family.

What to send — and what to leave out

Packing & Customs Tips
Help your box arrive in one piece
Use a strong box. A new, double-wall box holds up far better than a used grocery box. Tape every seam, top and bottom.
Fill the empty space. Clothing makes great padding around breakable items. A box that rattles is a box that gets damaged.
Label inside and out. Put the sender’s and recipient’s names, full addresses, and phone numbers on the outside — and a copy inside, in case the label tears.
Declare everything honestly. Customs can open any box. Undeclared items can cause delays, extra charges, or seizure. New items, electronics, and many of the same item can be taxed at the destination — ask us before you send.
Use the recipient’s name as it appears on their ID. They may need to show ID to receive the package.
Sending for the holidays? Come early.

How much does it cost to ship a box to Mexico?
The price depends on the weight, the size of the box, and the destination. We weigh and measure it in the office and give you the exact price before you pay.
How long does it take to arrive?
It depends on the destination, the service, and customs. We’ll give you an estimate when you ship. Around the holidays, plan for extra time.
Can I track my package?
You’ll get a receipt with a shipment number. Keep it, send a photo to your family, and call us if you need an update.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Bring your box to either office on Crows Landing Road during business hours — our main office at 1404 is open seven days a week. Customers come from Modesto, Ceres, Turlock, and all over Stanislaus County.
